Care Guide
To maintain the beauty and longevity of your Rash-Ke-Kashmir products, follow these simple care tips:
1. Washing
Shawls & Chadders: We recommend dry cleaning to preserve the delicate embroidery and fabric. If washing by hand, use cold water and mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
Suits (Embroidered or Stitched): Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water or hand wash with a mild detergent. Avoid washing with heavy fabrics or clothes that could damage the delicate embroidery.
2. Storing
Store your embroidered products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent any fading of colors.
For shawls and chadders, fold them gently and store in a fabric bag to avoid dust and dirt. If rolled, do not roll tightly to preserve the embroidery.
3. Ironing
For embroidered products, use an iron on a low heat setting, and always iron on the reverse side to protect the delicate threadwork.
Shawls can be lightly steamed to remove wrinkles. Avoid direct contact between the iron and the fabric, especially on heavily embroidered areas.
4. Handling
Handle your products with clean hands to avoid transferring oils and dirt to the fabric.
Avoid wearing or using your embroidered products in humid or rainy weather, as moisture can damage delicate threads.
5. Special Care for Delicate Embroidery
Take extra care when wearing or storing items with heavy embroidery. Excess friction can cause the threads to weaken or snag.
If any threads become loose, gently tuck them back into place using a needle
